Online Consultations

We’ve changed our online consultation service which brings a number of benefits to patients including access on your phone and tablet, a more responsive questionnaire, and you can now also use online consultation for your children, or people you care for, which you couldn’t do previously.

Friends and Family Test (FFT)

The FFT is a feedback tool which offers patients of NHS-funded services the opportunity to provide feedback about the care and treatment they have received.

The FFT tool combines a simple question, asking patients how likely they would be to recommend the service they have received to their friends and family; with at least one complementary follow-up question to enable patients to provide further detail about their experience.

To provide your feedback, please click on the "Friends and Family Test" link on the right navigation pane under the "Have your say" section OR ask at reception for a form.

On Line Appointment Booking

We have a range of appointments that can be booked (or cancelled) on line. Please complete the necessary documentation available from reception.

To reduce the number of missed appointments we are now sending patients a text message containing their appointment details when a booking is made.

A further message will also be sent 48 hours before the appointment is due as a reminder.


Please note: We do not have an official facebook page. This is something we are looking at developing in the future. The Hedon Group Practice (HGP) facebook pages which are currently on the internet, were not set up and are not managed by HGP. Anything on the unofficial facebook pages are not monitored by the Management or GPs at HGP.



 Patient Services Supervisor

We are looking to recruit an experienced, outgoing, customer service driven supervisor. You will be responsible for developing the Reception and Administration teams, improving the front of house patient experience and dealing with patient complaints and concerns.

You will be used to managing a team, have coaching and leadership skills and used to supporting change. You may already have NHS experience but applicants from a strong customer service background are welcomed.

South Holderness Medical Practice is intending to merge with our friends and colleagues at Hedon Group Practice and Church View Surgery (Hedon) in late 2018 forming a new General Practice called Holderness Health. This will create one of the largest independent practices in Yorkshire with over 36000 patients.

This is an exciting time for our practice team . With truly local control we intend to keep the best of traditional patient centred General Practice with all the benefits of a larger organisation.
